Seagull (for Stanley Sea)
No one has posted any photos in a while (or if they have, I missed them), so I decided to post these for Stanley Sea.
About 2.5 years ago I had to take a Cisco exam at a place near the Hoboken Terminal, and I ended up having lunch with the seagull in the photos as my companion.
He was a pretty friendly bird—when I went to sit down, he followed me and kept tilting his head to the side and watching me with a curious expression. He probably just wanted my pizza! A couple of geese came along after a while (I have no idea from where) and started raising a ruckus with their honking, at which point the gull got nervous and moved on.
It was overcast and very windy that day (causing the light to change constantly), so they’re not the best pics in the world, but since I think of SS every time I see them now, I wanted to give them to her.
If you go to the link below you’ll see a photo of the terminal. Look in the lower right hand corner and you’ll see some squat brownish-rust colored buildings—that’s where I was at. The 3rd photo below is the very grungy but cool looking door of one of the buildings.
